Nokia India has published recent data statistics on the update of Mobile Internet for Jul – Dec 2012.
Indians have consumed 1.67 Petabytes (1 Petabyte = 10^15 byte or 1000 terabytes) of data and viewed around 12.7 billion pageviews on Nokia-powered handsets between July-December 2012, according to the Nokia Mobisight report released by Nokia India.

- India Top Publisher: India was the top publisher in the Nokia Store for July-December 2012 followed by Finland, USA, and China. Others in the list include Netherlands, Mexico, France, United Kingdom, Russia and Norway.
- Top 10 Apps: The top 10 apps downloaded from the Nokia Store between July-December 2012 were Lock On Gallery, Lock On Messaging, Lock On Apps, Call Recorder, G Lock, Call Blocker, Free- Gallery protector, Fone Detective, Mobi Recorder and Free – Mobi Tracker. This indicates that privacy related or phone security apps are widely downloaded by Indians.

- Top 10 Songs on Nokia Music: Radha from Student Of The Year was the top downloaded Bollywood song during July-December 2012 followed by Student Of The Year’s The Disco Song and Jab Tak Hai Jaan’s Saans. Others in the list include Deewana Kar Raha, Mashallah, Rani Tu Mai Raja, Tumhi Ho Bandu, Ishq Wala Love, Halkat Jawani and Saiyaara.
